I am absolutely amazed at the amount of extremely useful information that can be found in hurricane forums.  I was looking for a checklist of things that need to be done to a house in order to properly prepare for a hurricane when I stumbled across these forums.  The members of the forums that have been through hurricanes and tropical storms freely share their experience and knowledge with people like me that need it.  It is easy to post a question and receive multiple answers from all kinds of different.  It doesn’t take long to figure out who knows what they are talking about and who doesn’t.
