Open Discussions Were Not Encouraged
News June 3rd. 2009, 1:30pmAt our school we believe in an open line of communication. Some of the teachers believe that it should be more open than others and some want a lot of discussion as long as it supports their views. After tax day we had Tea party discussions in class and everyone was asked to contribute something to the conversation. When anyone spoke in favor of the idea behind the tea parties at least one of our teachers would explain why that kind of thinking was faulty. His idea was that the government does not get enough money and that what they do get should not be spent on war but on social practices.
