From some of the books that I have read I have a vague idea of what France was like when Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson were visiting there.  I know that the luxury villa st remy de provence represent the 19th century but we all had a very old world feeling when we checked in and saw our rooms.  There have been a few times in our lives when we had been afforded VIP treatment and this turned out to be one of them.  Everything was first class from the wall decorations to the furniture.  Every night we slept in the lap of luxury on classic bedding.
